I joined Travelodge early in 2008 to acquire sites in North London; an area that has been earmarked by Travelodge for strong growth. I have previously worked for JD Wetherspoon’s property department responsible for acquisitions for over 8 years in which time the company grew its estate from 3000 pubs to 650 pubs. 

 

Since working for Travelodge I have 536 bedrooms under construction the most notable of these being a 188 bedroom hotel in Stratford, which will be open in time for the 2012 Olympics and a 90 bedroom hotel in a mixed use development in Greenwich which includes retail and residential units.
