I joined Travelodge early 2004 to grow the brand in Central London and now look after all development within the M25. Travelodge recruited me from Whitbread Hotel Company, where I looked after the expansion of both Marriott & Premier Travel Inn for the whole of the UK. Pre-Whitbread I spent six years at West End general practice surveyors Matthews & Goodman latterly specialising in hotel agency and professional work.

Most Embarrassing Moment: As you will have figured from my previous comment I am not too easily embarrassed and am fairly shameless. One moment that does stick in my mind was a lunch we were hosting at the fantastic La Vignette Haute restaurant whilst at MIPIM. Unfortunately I spent the entire meal in the bathroom due to a slightly upset stomach from the day before. I finally got packed off in a taxi back into Cannes when the bathroom toilet seat finally got too uncomfortable!
